“ Driving home from Spring Break fun we saw the billboard for this Cracker Barrel location and decided to stop for dinner. We dont have one nearby so its a treat to get to eat. I got the Chicken Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and fried apples. It was delicious. The youngest got the kids mini pancakes with bacon. He devoured them. Oldest child got a salad . My wife got French Toast with eggs and variety of meals. We al enjoyed our meals. Our server was very good. She checked on us often and kept our drinks refilled. ”

Miranda greeted us with a great smile and took our drink order she quickly came back and took our food order and gave us her opinion about what dish was delicious. We loved it. Hope came by to thank us for coming from a long way and her great customer service was astonishing. We are beyond happy we came and will definitely be coming back. ”

This was my first time experiencing Cracker Barrel and let me tell you, I had the most wonderful experience at the one in Bakersfield. 3110 California Ave... If you ever find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and stop Through. Ask for Miss Stacey!!!!! First impressions are everything for me and boy did she lay out the red carpet. Never felt more at home she was absolutely awesome!!! She was so knowledgeable about the menu and very patient. I really appreciated that. Now to the Food. Hats off to the chefs!!! I ordered Hashbrows, Country Fried Steak Eggs with Biscuits Gravy. From a technical standpoint everything was very well prepared. Hashbrowns were crispy on the outside with a soft interior, Over medium eggs were spot on.The white part was perfectly cooked without overcooking the yolk. The country fried steak had a light crust and was well seasoned.The Biscuits Gravy were OMG good with the Biscuits being the STAR of the show. They brought them out in a bread basket with a whole cup of Gravy I was a dipping fool. Since it was my first time Miss Hope brought me out a goodie bag. I mean what place does that . Everyone was so nice, just a wonderful place with a great atmosphere and superb service. Will definitely be back!!! Btw order the Peah Tea ”

“ on a road trip we stopped in Bakersfield for the night. We dont have a Cracker Barrel location close to our home so we thought we would dine here. Upon entering you are greeted by the gift shop which had a little of everything, from food, old fashioned candy to a few clothing items and toys for the kids. The hostess that seated us was pleasant and asked us if it was our first time visiting.. As the last time we ate at cracker barrel was 20 years ago and it was out of state, we told her yes it was. She welcomed us and seated us at our table quickly. Beverages arrived quickly as did our choice of warm cornbread. Our meal arrived shortly after with our choice of 2 sides. You can order 3 sides for an upgraded price. The meals were hot and tasty, the fried catfish wasnt greasy and was lightly breaded in corn meal. The hash browns were a little salty for my taste. The side salad was crisp and had extra toppings. For desert the warm peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream was very good also. Portions were just enough as we were able to finish all of our meal. As a first time guest we received a goodie bag with a box of chocolate covered raspberry sticks and a small inflatable ball. That was a nice touch. ”
“ Today was my first experience eating at any Cracker Barrel and I can tell you this location is wonderful! Our server Madison was very nice, attentive and made sure we got what we needed. The biscuits came out hot and so soft, our food came out so quickly and was nice and hot. I had the fried chicken sandwich with Nashville sauce and all I can say is Wow. Manny and the cashier at the front I didnt get her name were so nice and happily welcomed me for my first time. I told Manny how much I liked the Nashville sauce and he gave me an extra sample. I will definitely be visiting again soon ”
“ We ordered a heat and serve meal for Thanksgiving. Signs for pickup were easy to follow. The staff was friendly and we never had to get out of the car. Food heated up perfectly and gave us a tasty meal without all the prep. Thanks Cracker Barrel! Tim Samantha Williams ”
